Mercure Roeselare

We stayed here for a wedding and just needed it for 2 nights to be as close to the venue as possible (the Skyline park). It served its purpose well. The room was spacious and well equipped. Downstairs was very nice and the restaurant had good food in the evening! There was a cool little meals fridge in the lobby which was handy for when the restaurant was closed between lunch and dinner.

This hotel delivered everything you would expect, it was excellent in every aspect, especially the staff who were extremely professional and discreet, you didn't always see them, but when you needed them they were there. The breakfast was very good, with a very good selection of different options to cater for every taste, it is a very good place to base yourself if you are exploring this region of Belgium.

Lovely big room with excellent shower, big bathroom, big comfy bed. Safe place to store our bikes. Really helpful woman at reception who helped me send a parcel, very kind. The lady when checking out was also kind and keen to know what we recommend in the local area as tourists passing through.

Bar/Restaurant staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Service was quick and efficient, with a smile and a chat. Also the parking was secure and free. The ''shop'' in reception was so handy if you fancied a snack or drinks to take to your room.

I made a big mistake with my reservations at booking.com. After check in everything was confused and i was not able to explain or to fix this. The Manager and the stuff at reception take care for it and fixed it...we talk about 4000 Euro and at the end i get a fair and fine solution. Staying for a long time...a collegue was infected by covid and i ask for support to get 30 Testkits. Next day they were available at reception! Realy fine housekeeping, nice room, good bed and everyone was pretty friendly. Easy to reach over motorway. High class Hotel!!!!!
